Eden Cycling will host the 9th edition of the Youth Cycling Festival in Oudtshoorn from 17 -19 June 2019.

Due to the upcoming Youth Road Championships taking place 22 – 23 June in KZN the Festival was shortened by a day to accommodate riders that want to participate in both events.

The format for the event will stay the same as in 2018 with the events taking place as follow: On Monday, 17 June the Road Race will take place at Highgate Ostrich Show Farm and in the afternoon the Team Time Trial. The Criterium will take place on the Aurial College Circuit on Tuesday, 18 June and on Wednesday the MTB XCM will be hosted at the Quad Club.

“The Youth Cycling Festival proved to be a good breeding ground for young cyclists. The event expose the cyclists to the different disciplines of cycling and develop their skills and expose them to racing in their respective age categories. This event will also be an opportunity for riders to do their last preparations for the Youth Road Championships.”
