Road and MTB through the beautiful Tygerberg Hills at the Durbie Dash

Durbie Dash

The Durbie Dash, presented by the Durbanville High School on 20 October 2018, is more than a fundraising event; it offers participants and spectators a wide range of activities, and caters for road and mountain biking through the beautiful Tygerberg Hills and Renosterveld areas as well as trail and urban fun runs. All routes are well marshalled, and water points well stocked.

Participants can choose between two road races (90km and 46km); four mountain bike (MTB) routes (60km, 45km, 25km and 12km) with a King and Queen of the Mountain for the MTB event to the value of R2 500 each, and three trail and urban fun runs (14km, 9km and 3,5km).

The 90-km road event is a seeding event for the Cape Town Cycle Tour 2019. A large marquee will accommodate a beer garden supported by a variety of food and beverage stalls. Prize giving will take place at intervals during the course of the morning, and a Lucky Draw will take place at 12:00. Great prizes are up for grabs!
