Advendurance the company behind the Ashburton Investments National Mountain Bike Series, has announced its partnership with luxury Italian vehicle brand, Maserati.
“Over the last 15 years we’ve refined our event into one of the most premier mountain bike series on the international stage and our core brand values align perfectly with that of a brand like Maserati,” said Francois Theron of Advendurance.
Launched in 2003, the series has become one of the largest and most prestigious mountain bike racing series in the world. It consistently attracts all of South Africa’s top racers and has also seen many of the world’s top racers on its podiums.
The Ashburton Investments National MTB Series truly is national in its reach with seven events in six provinces, rotating provinces and venues each year to take high quality mountain bike racing to many of the country’s incredible mountain bike racing venues.
For Maserati, a brand keen to expand its South African footprint and reach an affluent, travel-savvy market, the partnership is appropriate. Maserati is the official vehicle partner to the Ashburton Investments National MTB Series.

This weekend, Round 4 of the 2017 Ashburton Investments National MTB Series heads to the majestic Drakensberg for the first time. Perhaps a coincidence the Champagne Valley venue will appropriately christen the partnership with Maserati.
