Leading Cycling Apparel brand CIOVITA, launced a brand new concept store to serve as a retail outlet for their award winning kit. Ciovita have fast become the cycling brand everyone is talking about, and now they are bringing their world class kit to a new concept store in Zonnebloem (Woodstock), Cape Town.
Previously, the only way to get your hands on Ciovita’s range was through their online store, and while this is still viable option, Capetonians will be able to receive the benefits of one on one service as well as see the latest kit concepts first hand by visiting the store.
“The idea of a Ciovita Concept store started germinating last year, and really comes from the public demand for a traditional retail wing to supplement our online sales.” says Freddie Enslin, Head of Sales at Ciovita. “Cycling is after all a tactile sport and while, our kit always looks good, we understand the need our loyal supporters have to physically interact with the kit.
They want to feel the imported fabrics, see the trims up close and experience the fit. We want to create an experiential store, which can become a hub not just for Ciovita, but for the greater Cape Town cycling community.”
For the past six months Ciovita have been working with graphic and industrial designers to bring their vision for this retail space to life. And while the process has been underway for some time Ciovita are keeping their cards close to their chest.
“We are obsessed with getting the details right.” Says CEO, Andrew Gold. “It is this obsession that informs every part of our business, we are always driven to produce the best possible product and that is as true for our cycling jerseys as it is for the Ciovita Store.”
They have fast become the go to brand in the country for both custom made kit, as well as, their core range, which features high quality, bibs, shorts, jerseys, jackets and accessories.
All their kit is designed, manufactured and quality controlled in-house to ensure the highest possible standards are maintained. And the public demand and race performance of their athletes, has shown that this approach really pays dividends.
Ciovita also believes that when you look good, you feel good, and they work hard to keep their range fresh and current, with new designs launched almost weekly through their #FreshKitFriday program, as well as constant testing and upgrade of their fits and fabric technology to ensure they stay at the forefront of the sport.
